For a few days last week we were in the air before sunrise and in the air after sunset producing a hole-by-hole portfolio of the beautiful Spurwing Golf Club in Meridian.

We spent 3 days in eastern Idaho in February on a number of assignments. These aren’t “pretty” aerial photographs-most of the time, winter aerials in Idaho come in three basic flavors: brown, brown, and if you’re in a developed area-gray.

Idaho Airships, Inc. does quite a bit of construction progress and bridge photography all over Idaho-from Sandpoint to Idaho Falls to Pocatello. Of course, most of it occurs in the southwestern Idaho population center.

Manipulating the Depth of Field in photography and videography is the new “Hotness.” It’s not best to simply apply a graduated Blur in Photoshop-the effect is far too coarse and does not approximate certain ideosyncracies of a larger aperture.
