The S. Broadway Ave. (which is also US Hwy. 26) Bridge construction project has been enjoying phenomenal progress over the spring and summer months.
The context of this project is incredibly complex; adjacent to Boise State University, the bridge served as a main artery to the east side of downtown Boise, including the Ada County Courthouse, Washington Group Plaza, and St. Luke’s main campus.

Extraordinary efforts were made to protect the historic Christ Chapel from effects of construction rigors during the project. The Green Belt tunnel and pedestrian access from Broadway Ave. along the south side of the bridge are also visible in this image.

The concrete bridge deck is a critical element of the plan, as is the obvious lack of disturbances to the riparian areas near the project.
