This spring we were once again overwhelmed with work-all over the western United States-but that’s not a complaint!
Hundreds (!) of assignments in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona have kept us away from updating this website. As penance the following collection is posted, and is representative of our core services (aerial photography of construction, Real Estate, engineering, and forensics). If you’re interested in our forensic work, please see our www.forensicallyfit.net site. If you are interested in the animations we use to make our imagery more communicative (for interactive maps, exhibits, etc.) please see our www.persuasion-interactive.net site.
Residential Development and construction have really come to life in western Idaho-a very encouraging sign!
Infrastructure construction is a big part of our work. The State Highway 16 project enjoyed Federal backing and is already proving to be a very wise decision.
More of the State Highway 16 extension just north of Chinden in north Meridian-over the very important Phyllis Canal. It was instructive and very impressive to see the protection of both the Boise River and the Phyllis Canal during the project.
Congratulations to The College of Idaho on the start of their new football program!
The plaza and fountains within The Village at Meridian are not visible from either Eagle Rd. nor Fairview Ave. The choreographed water & light shows at night are beautiful!
Boise State University is boiling over with new construction, a massive (>22,000) student body, and enthusiasm from the community not only for football, but engineering and other academics. I sit on a Board for a competing school and I’m excited about BSU!
The old parking lot south of the old Administration Building is now a plaza with a beautiful metal “B” sculpture.
We’re going to have a word with Idaho Power about putting up power lines where we need to photograph…
The 2014 Boise Music Festival saw ~81,000 attendees. Congratulations to Townsquare Media!
We’ve been shooting a great number of wastewater treatment plants, landfills, and similar subjects. They are important parts of our infrastructure and delicate in their own ways.
The two preceding images are differing angles on the existing (to the left) and new (to the right) parking facilities at Boise’s Gowen Field.
Another project that is keeping folks busy is the new Gardner Co. project at the Boise Center on the Grove Plaza: the City Center Plaza. This is the parking lot just prior to demolition. More information on the project is available here.
