A Simple Exercise in High Resolution Image Internet Access
Jul 19th, 2008 by Leo A. Geis
Typically one must download an entire high resolution image in order to view the minutiae. Some of our files exceed 500MEG uncompressed, so use on mobile devices is obviated and use on even high speed connections is ponderous.
Here is a zoomable high resolution images (60MEG uncompressed) which you are able to drill down into and navigate around in. Please note the lack of significant download delays when you zoom in (use the arrow along the top of the toolbar to zoom constantly).
This capability is allowing us to batch-process (an inexpensive preparation) your Idaho Airships, Inc. images-ground or aerial-so that they better substantiate your message by producing convenient and easy access to the details of an image. Often it is the details of an image that are most germane.
The uses for this capability are not confined to demonstrative exercises. With our focus on persuasive applications and the ability of these artifacts to include links and a variety of interactive extensions, Idaho Airships, Inc.’s images facilitate investigation. That’s fairly uncharted territory for remote image viewing, and is relatively confined to certain medical (e.g. radiology) and military operations.
