This Website is Now 9 Months Old!
Apr 4th, 2008 by Leo Geis
We’ve had 13,723 discreet visitors (not pageviews or “hits”) according to WordPress, and 12,037 since we installed the ClustrMap on August 3, 2007.
That shocks me, since the site’s themes (aerial and technical photography, Photoshop for those activities, and Flash/ActionScript programming) aren’t what I’d consider to be hot topics in lil’ ol’ Boise, Idaho.
The ClustrMap tells the story: We’ve had a good number of international visitors, particularly from the UK (I used to live in Felixstowe, near Ipswich), and heavy concentrations of visitors from the Boise area, the Salt Lake City area, and the San Francisco Bay area. Glad to be of service!
We haven’t formally marketed for almost 5 years-even pulled out of the Yellow Pages for 4 years-but with our new production capabilities (GPS-based products, 4 camera sets, 3 large format printers, etc.) we’re ramping up for a very aggressive 2008 campaign. It will focus primarily on the use of ActionScript to make our images sing and dance.
Still no commenting capability on the site-with our apologies. We don’t have the time to review/administer them. On the other hand…no advertising or soliciting either!
Our “busy season” has hit early, so back to work…
